Considering to make a contribution to saving the environment?

Start by composting, by composting you are not only creating something that keeps plants healthy but you are keeping compostable waste out of landfills. Composting reduces chemical fertilizers, methane emissions & carbon footprint. It encourages a nutrient-filled material, it also suppresses all the diseases and pests from the plant. Gives a valuable soil amendment. Compost returns valuable nutrients to the soil to help maintain soil quality and fertility. Compost is a mild, slow-release, natural fertilizer that won’t burn the plants like, chemical fertilizers. It increases the stability of the soil, improves drainage & retains moisture. By composting, you are not only doing a favour to yourself, but also to the planet. Composting is an excellent way to save money, make use of otherwise discarded material & prevent unneeded landfill waste. We should keep in mind that this land island if we don’t reserve our resources and take care of them, we don’t have a sustainable environment. We need to think wisely about the thing that we use in our everyday life

Let’s be thoughtful of what we purchase, always ask yourself do you really need this? It is really ironic to know that for the roll of tissue paper to decompose it takes almost 2-4 weeks, a plastic used these days takes 450 years to decompose, for your daily food to compose it takes almost 3 months. One should avoid products that are associated with solid waste and start using sustainable products to save the planet collectively.

5 Reasons you should start composting:

1.Compost, good for the planet:

Composting materials helps one save water by helping the soil hold moisture and reduce water. It benefits the environment by recycling organic resources while conserving landfill space. The trash bags used today are made from the potato starch or corn starch.

  1. Guess what composting will give you? no smell, no pests & essentials back to the soil.

when you compost it enriches the soil, retains the moisture and suppresses plant diseases and pests. The need for chemical fertilizers goes down.

  1. Have a prolific soil ecosystem, compost.

To have a good soil ecosystem, composting is one way to enrich the soil and gain the moisture.

  1. Compost, because a rind is a terrible thing to waste

When you throw away waste, the waste almost takes one month, recycling is an excellent way to keep the environment sustainable.

  1. Reduce, reuse, recycle, share & grow things

The three R’s are considered as a major factor for composting, for example, the starch of potato & corn is used to make biodegradable bags.

A composter can change a lot of living styles, it can make let us have a sustainable environment. If we together take small steps by recycling, saving water & compost waste, the world will quickly change for the better
